Location was excellent as many of the tourist destinations were within walking distance and city cruise boats also easily accessible.

.Location was perfect for my interests in Oslo. I was able to walk pretty much everywhere I wanted to go. Proximity to the Opera House, Munch Museum and one of the wharf areas from which the tour boats depart was most helpful. Arriving and departing from the Central Railroad Station makes this location perfect.

This hotel could not be bettered for location and value for money. Self check in is a little onerous and if you're looking for 5* luxrury the Verandi isn't for you but if you're after a decent room and private shower within two minutes walk of the Oslo ferries and tour boats, the National; Museum, The National Theatre, The Ibsen Museum, The Palace, lovely restaurants and bars and a pleasant walk to The Munch Museum and Opera House which has a little beach outside to sunbathe on - this hotel is unbeatable.

We loved our commodore classic room with 2 windows for a wonderful view. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of options. Comfortable bed and quiet room. It was nice to have a good break between boarding and departure as had time for some relaxation before exploring the boats facilities.

A relaxing way to travel between countries! Check in was super easy, all the staff very friendly. The room was in a great location on the boat, and we had access to the Commodore Lounge with snacks and drinks. Excellent value as the room also included Breakfast

Hotel was easy to check in and out and staff always on hand to help if needed. Location was perfect - close to both the bus and train stations, main shopping areas and also the harbour for nice walks and boat trips. Room was small but very comfortable and clean. Bed was lovely and comfy and bathroom was quite spacious. Hotel bar had a really nice atmosphere. Lots of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area.

We loved this hotel the food and the warm welcome. It’s a short walk from the train station and right in the middle of the city so very handy a short walk to the sea. We did Viking 3D experience and a boat trip plus the Christmas market was on but to be honest that wasn’t great. We loved the breakfast at the hotel and we ate dinner there one night. Oslo is expensive but we knew that. And this hotel is great value for money.
