A lovely tiny houseboat - on a beautiful marina literally a few min walk to the historic old village of Hattem. The houseboat also has a roof deck so we could watch the sun go down around 10.30pm each night. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare our own meals for our stay. The bathroom had a good shower and we could walk from the boat to the surrounding nature area around the canal. A lovely scenic place to stay.

The houseboat was charming and well appointed and the location couldn't have been more convenient! We had a great time exploring the collection of old LPs and enjoyed everything about our stay. It's the perfect place to stay when visiting Zwolle!
This is a special place to stay. Loved it, bigger than expected inside. It is a canal boat so the bedding is smaller than normal bedding, but is well worth it. Highly recommend.
The host is so so so kind. He picked us at the train station the first day and drive us back to the train station as well the last day. Moreover, the private boat tour around Zwolle was so unforgettable! The surrounding is full of nature and super kind people. I definitively recommend to stay here to enjoy the local experience! Very very nice host. I just mentioned ahead of my arrival that I am vegetarian and the host made an effort and left some vegetarian food in the refrigerator. It is wonderful experience to spend several days in the house floating on water. Waves cannot be sensed unless a big boat is passing very near by. The host lives in the same house in the next apartment, so if you need to ask for something, it is easy.
Norbet is one of the best hosts I have ever come across. His boat house is equipped with a nice bathtub and comfy bed. There are two TVs in the room if you need entertainment. He prepared an amazing breakfast and always checked with me to ensure I had everything. He even offered to do laundry and lend me the boat to go away from the town. Budda (his dog) is super friendly. I had a great time staying there and I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of his place.
The unique experience of staying on a houseboat was great. I loved waking up to see swans and all sorts of waterfowl. Norbert was so kind and accommodating and drove us to and from the station, to the library to print tickets and to our son’s apartment. He even invited us to sing and dance around a fire with his friends for Christmas. It was unfortunate that Zwolle was experiencing record flooding while we were there but Norbert assured us we were safe and helped get our luggage over the floodwater.
Everything was amazing we had a great time and experience, the boat was really luxury and well equipped with all what anyone need, the location was excellent exactly in the city center.
The owner was helpful and collaborative.
AC was very good and cold, the kids room was full of toys which was joyful for my little ones :)

Boat came for use with the cabin my husband took it out with just us two, and around Zwolle having never soley steered a boat before. Host was very kind.

The boat is right in the city centre in walking distance to sights, restaurants, cafés, shops. It is a great place to be at, nice when sunny, cosy when rainy.
Loved staying in an old tower in the city walls. Owner was nice and helpful. Breakfast through arrangement at a local cafe was good. We ate at a boat 10m from the tower.
