Enjoyed our stay! The hotel is very clean, comfortable and quiet. Air conditioning works great. The staff is very friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The building itself is very pretty and not far at all from stunning examples of art nouveau. The park is right across the road and there you can take a boat to see Riga by water.
Location was ideal. Bang in center of Old toan. Couldn’t be better. Hostess greeted us warmly and provided us with the info we wanted. Apartment was spotless and well equipped. People in Riga were friendly and we would certainly come again. We were able to cover all the sights in the few days we were there and even took a boat trip on the canal which provided a unique view of the city.
The hotel is perfectly located, just across the street nice park with canal where a boat trip can be organised. Walking trough the park will lead you to the Old Town border. The Old Town itself is worth to visit for everyone. Beautiful narrow streets, many restaurants, bars or just small places to drink coffee.
The hotel is conveniently located in proximity of old town, by a stunning park, blooming with flowers, water features, and boat rides. Staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Every member is solution oriented. Service is simply impeccable!
The hedonic spa is a wonderful way to unwind - salt wall sauna is a must - and the fitness room is open 24/7. Breakfast selection is above par, including freshly prepared eggs benedict, salmon and florentine.
The restaurant serves a delicious tartare among other delicious options !
Trip to opera, walking round the old town,going to the market visiting art nouveau district, lunching with Riga Rotarians, visiting the Dom cathedral and hearing a magnificent organ recital, taking a boat trip from canal out to River ,
The location is terrific -- 5 - 7 minutes from bus station (some cobblestones) and the market, and (going the other direction) into the old town. Also can pick up a tour bus or boat nearby. Breakfast was good - a selection of egg dishes, pastries, coffee and juice.
Apartment is on the big boat what is kinda amazing! Apartment it self was completely New. Equipped with all you need, Owner was very friendly. Close to old town. And most important thing quite surroundings. 10/10 thank you for everything, with best regards Harald.
Lovely family run hotel, perfect location close to the main art nouveau area and park. Easy walk to the canal for a boat ride and stroll around the old town. Great breakfast and comfortable beds. A daughter kindly stayed up til midnight to check us in and provided a much needed kettle and tea facilities after our flight was considerably delayed
Great staff, very friendly, giving good advice. I loved the free umbrellas to borrow (luckily, it only rained once in two weeks). Reception stored my suitcase for 4 days while I was in Finland. Very good breakfast, excellent location opposite shopiing centre and airport, right at the entrance to the Old Town, Opera, Freedom Square, excursion boats, trams and buses, everything within walking distance. Room slightly dated, but spacious enough, good desk, comfy bed, mini-fridge, modern bathroom. Good curtains. Good value.
