Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services may be available -- a nautical getaway awaits.
Marcello, our host made contact with me prior to our arrival and was there to meet us despite only arriving at 19h00 due to a delayed flight. There were coffee pods at our disposal as well as water in the fridge. He gave us a list of recommendation of things to do in the area as well as where to do our groceries and best places to eat to have an authentic meal, not at tourist traps. He even had a boat and offered to take us out at the going rate, which we did and was definitely a highlight. There was a beach umbrella to use at the apartment.
Stefano, Antonio and the rest of the team were exceptional when it came to service. They helped us find train times for a trip to Noto, book a wonderful restaurant for dinner and a great boat trip. The facilities were great and the breakfast was delicious - in particular the home made marmalades! Highly recommend this place - you will have a great time if you stay here.
Loads of space and great location, travelled with wife, son and his girlfriend, plenty of room to come together or have time alone. In city centre, so everything you need on the doorstep, bars, restaurants, boat trips, places to swim, great sandy beaches a short drive away. Wouldl book again if we go back to Sicily.
Fantastic location, the market, restaurants and boat trips were really close. There was a beautiful terrace with fantastic views where we spent the evening as a group, and Breakfast was also served there
It was amazing staying on a boat in the Mediterranean. It's close to the center of Ortigia and the four of us fit right in. There's a little beach right next door to the marina as well. But maybe swim on the other side of the breakwater as the boats dump sewage directly into the harbour.. learned that the hard way. I would still totally recommend it. The host was lovely.
The apartment was very elegantly decorated, spacious and comfortable. It was in a great area. The boat was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
The breakfast was great, a good selection on offer. The position of the hotel was perfect for our sightseeing needs, the little balcony was lovely to watch the yachts, cruise ships and other comings and goings on the water.
The rooms were nice — our group had a lovely corner sea view room, another sea view room, and the two bedroom apartment in the adjacent building, all of which were lovely. Breakfast was delicious — fresh, huge selection, abundant, delicious cappuccinos. Staff was very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay. Concierge helped with dinner reservations, local information, private car transport, private boat tour, everything. Would absolutely recommend for a nice stay in a charming, boutique hotel in Ortigia!
