Great river front location. Boat cruise leaves directly outside. 5 mins walk into town, across the road from the theatre too. Staff very friendly and helpful, stayed 2 nights mid week. Shower was fab, room very clean. Bedding and towels pristine, got discount on food and drinks from sister river front bars next door too.rooms are accessed via back of building up 2 sets of stairs, no lift so bear that in mind.
Have stayed here a few times now. It’s clean and comfortable and the location is excellent. The staff are lovely as is the little terrace off the bar which overlooks the river. Such a lovely setting to sit and watch the boats sail past.
Fantastic location. It took us about 10 minutes walk to get into the centre of York. Loads to do, we enjoyed the York Cat Trail and the River Boat Cruise.
Great holiday cottage, comfortable beds, great lounge and kitchen/ dining area. Parking was not a problem at all as we found a space in the road right outside. No need to use your car whilst you are there as everything is so near.
Wonderful apartment, clean and comfy, just a stroll from everything York has to offer!
Had a great stay would definitely return, once parked didn't use the car and the walls walk Is a must.
Would have booked boat trip but unfortunately river was flooded due to time of year, hey ho it is January that can't be helped 😊 still had a smashing time!!

Really great location and a short walk by the river into York. Walking back at 5pm there were all the boats from the York Rowing Club on the river. Unexpected bonus.. parking was just outside in my case. Just what I needed
Very modern and comfortable, loved staying there, great big rooms, great if you have a few of the river also, watch the boats go by and people, right in the town so you can walk to all the action.
Great to having free coffee machine, great selection on breakfast bits which you can take to your room to finish off.
The location as its only 3 miles from York City Center and a view over the River Ouse. If staying longer could of got the City Cruises Boat from the pubs car park directly into York. Its a lovely old pub with plenty of charm.
The property is beautiful and a a great quiet location, it was the perfect ‘chilled out’ retreat. York was only a few mins drive away, we visited the local pub where the my served excellent food and had friendly staff. Waking up to boats coming down the river was amazing and so relaxing. We will defiantly be back!
Great set up, I liked how the kitchen (which was beautiful and practical) was on the ground floor and the lounge was on the first floor.
Balcony is a great place to have a brew, my son and I played chess for hours with the river a stone's throw away.
Great location with being both on the river and just a wander into town.
5 minutes walk from both self drive boats and boat tours as well as having both the ice cream boats just up the river.
Comfortable beds and wonderful en-suite in the top bedroom.
Everything was just amazing! From checking in to checking out the staff were nothing but lovely & the romantic room was absolutely beautiful & the bath was perfect! Location was 100% also. The outside was beautiful also I definitely think we picked the boat hotel in York
