Steve, the lovely friendly owner met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of his remarkable yacht. It was more than expected and was warm, really comfortable. Cosy beds and bedding, fully equipped proper galley kitchen. Loved it.

Having never been on a yacht before, we were super excited. The Y Knot did not disappoint!
We had a splendid stay and a super night's sleep. We all enjoyed the experience of staying aboard the Y Knot! It was well equipped and spotlessly clean.
Shawn, our host, was an excellent communicator and a really nice guy. We also appreciated the welcome hamper, and the chilled bottle of prosecco was a very nice surprise. Highly recommend, a fabulous experience.

First impressions of the boat was WOW !!!
The boat was moored in the most perfect location and lovely to see all the other boats passing by going about their business. Inside the boat had everything you would need for a stay, even down to a washing machine and a piano (the grandchildren are still trying to figure out how the piano got down into the lower deck). 🤣
Sam has actually thought of everything.
This was a truly wonderful experience for us and the grandchildren and one we will hold as a very special memory.

Location was very peaceful and quiet, we were exceptionally lucky with the weather. The boat was very clean and comfortable enough for us. Everything we needed was on board. Facilities at the marina were very good, which was great because the bathroom and toilet facilities on the boat were really only for use as a back up.

Absolutely beautiful boat, comfortable and well appointed, we loved the outside spaces and views over the water. Everything was perfect and it really had the wow factor. We also loved the open air bar next to the Dockmaster office - the coffee and bacon rolls were very good quality and they had a pizza oven too.

We had a great couple of nights on board the Zen Dog, I took my two boys (9 & 11) and they loved the novelty of staying & sleeping on a boat. It was also comfortable and the YouTube video the owner sent made the check-in very smooth. We enjoyed eating out at the Haven Restaurant (a few minutes walk away) aswell as in Lymington. The boat is well situated for walks as well as for getting to the Isle of Wight. I used the shower on the boat and found it to be good, but for ease I used the nearby facilities for showering the children and they were excellent.
Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services may be available -- a nautical getaway awaits.

Absolutely stunning yacht in an amazing location. Really lovely hosts. I could not think of anywhere better or more special to stay if visiting Southampton. Loads of room for 6 of us.
Just all around great! We had a blast. Check in was easy. The yacht experience was outstanding. We tried the spa facilities and they were great. Solid 10/10.
The yacht was lovely, booked it as a birthday surprise for my granddaughter after a 5 night cruise. It was great value for money compared to hotels, so would highly recommend. Millie and Steve were brilliant, and kept in touch with us, arranged early check in and the most amazing afternoon tea. Can’t thank them enough.

Was a lovely surprise for my partners birthday. The yacht had everything you needed and included just little appreciated touches like some snacks and milk for a hot drink in the morning. The gentleman who owns the boat showed me everything I needed to know and was really helpful.
Modern, clean and cosy little yacht with all the facilities you’d need for a couple nights away. Miros met us at the hotel next to the marina and showed us to the boat. He told us everything we needed to know about the boat and the area surrounding so we enjoyed our stay. 100% recommend!
We liked the novelty of staying on board a yacht in the middle of Southampton. The marina complex has plentiful bars and restaurants and also Uber eats can deliver to you. We opted for delivery and had a meal and wine at the back of the boat whilst looking upon the activities going on around us.
