Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht, or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services might be available – a nautical getaway awaits.
We were attending a wedding at The Boathouse. This is in a great location and was less than 10 minutes away. It has great social spaces to relax and had everything we needed. The projector in the lounge is a great feature.
This quirky hotel has brilliant, friendly staff who could not be more helpful in every way. The breakfasts are fantastic & the dinner that we treated ourselves to had the best chips I’ve ever had. I have a broken wrist & the staff brought all my food already cut up for me. The hotel is full of fun objects such as giant rubber ducks & model yachts - an absolute delight.
Clean bedding comfy beds. perfect location opposite the boats,slept well.Easy key retrieval and communication last minute overnight stay. Great kitchen facilities didn't use (extensive deliveroo selection) lovely building and huge living room close to shops and lovely early morning stroll with the kids along the dock looking at the boats
Everything we needed was there. Lovely and quiet(wasn't school holidays at the time though) Amenities close by for essentials. The beds were comfortable. The beach is about a 15 min walk. Great community shop nearby supporting local lifeboat.
I loved how spacious the apartment was. Definitely didn't think it was going to be that big on the inside!
I loved our view from our window. My youngest son loved watching the boats sail off in the morning.
I loved that the gentleman ( assuming the landlord ) waited outside for us and was so welcoming 🙏 he was very patient showing us how things worked and where stuff was. Such a wonderful man. Thank you so much for having us!
Excellent spot for the beach and with a Sainsbury’s and Argos located opposite anything you need can be picked up.
Host was flexible as to whether I used the second bedroom - in the end it was just me and my infant son.
The toilet roll had a special stamp when you first used any!
The decor and sail boats are so pretty.
Tele worked with a usb charging port if you forget your plug for your charger!

Great hotel situated in a quieter area opposite the old boat lake, which is lovely to walk round . Near enough to high street and front . Comfy beds clean rooms and friendly staff and great breakfast . Everything was thought of that you would need in the room for your stay .
Great locale, really nice pubs in and around the area for different ales if you like that sort of thing, or a nice Sunday roast!
Also great to take a boat out on the broads.
Really comfortable accommodation, great for couples and even chilling out watching a movie while it's raining with a hot cup of tea/coffee. The farm is really nice also, a lovely gas bbq that you can use at your leisure, which they provide the gas for!
Staff is amazing, engaging and accommodating to your needs. Breakfast (included!) has great options including for vegans. Double bed room was good, good sized room and great treats ( toiletries to coffee/biscuits). It’s a 10min walk from the pier and main attractions, and a stone throw away from the Waterways (their little Venice) with boats to hire, lots of history and amazing lavender scent in the summer! Beautiful singing birds would wake you up in the summer too.
