The Houseboat is a fantastic place to explore Zamalek from. Right on the Nile, we got a glimpse of life on the river from our sunny balcony. The owners are extremely helpful and make it very accessible to ask anything. From the thoughtfully curated decorations to the pdf filled with information, you can tell so much love has been put into this place.
Mohammed met us at the gate and carried our super heavy luggage downstairs to the houseboat. We don’t speak the same language but didn’t have a bit of trouble communicating. That guy is strong! Our room was nice, but that view! Sitting on our balcony directly on the Nile was AMAZING! There was always something going on in the river. It was a fabulous place to sit and soak it in. I’m in Cairo, on the Nile! The location is fantastic and everything is nearby. Uber is wonderful and inexpensive here! Order food. Hang out on balcony.
This place is a gem in the middle of Cairo. We had an amazing time staying on the houseboat, enjoyed the beautiful views in the middle of the lively city. The atmosphere is truly authentic and unique in its kind, you feel like you’re back in time. The hosts were welcoming and kind. Thank you very much for welcoming us!
It’s a very nice boat hotel , good size of the rooms and clean ! The bed is very comfortable, I also had dinner and it was delicious! It’s a bit far from Cairo’s city center but it’s in a lovely position with views over the Nile. Friendly staff
