Get out on the water (without ever leaving the dock!) on a commercial boat. Guests have access to a partial or entire boat, yacht, or houseboat, which will remain docked throughout the stay. Meals and additional services might be available – a nautical getaway awaits.
Such a lovely boat, so cozy and quiet. The facilities are beautiful and there has obviously been a lot of care put into the place. The fox details are so cute and everything is beautiful and modern inside. It’s so close to cafes and the Main Street. Just a lovely spot to sit on the deck, have a couple of drinks in the sunshine and watch the boats and birds go by. Loved it.
Absolutely everything. The location is magnificent, watching the birds on the water was truly amazing. The boat itself feels like a home away from home, everything you could want or need.

This is was my second stay at the Boat Haven but we were in the bigger cabin this year. It has a really lovely outlook and an outdoor area to sit at. Very clean, and comfortable accommodation (and quiet too). A recommended stay.
What a unique experience staying on a boat on the river. Absolutely magnificent. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing and calm. Visited by the black swans, ducks, swallows and jumping fish. Sitting in the cool breeze looking out over the river was wonderful.
The location is spectacular, as it is right on the river at a private jetty. The view from the lounge was of the old wooden boats and the river. Birks Harbour is well equipped, private and the bed was very comfortable. A very welcoming host.
Great location - right there in the centre with restaurant options and easy access to the Wharf for boat trips. Comfy bed and sofas - very spacious. Lovely garden and somewhere secure to park the car. A lot of care and attention has been given to decorating the house. It is fun and tasteful. Easy access to food and other shopping. Great art gallery across the road.
