At Wanderlust José Ignacio every room comes with air conditioning and a private bathroom. we had a double room en-suite and it was to a very high standard, cleaned daily and well equipped. the communal area is very convivial , clean and has great cooking facilities. what makes this place are the staff. nothing is too much trouble from bikes , to beach towels to a lift to the restaurant. breakfast is basic but nice,. it was the closest we came to being at home on a long trip. up can do your laundry which is great.

Other rooms overlook the garden, barbecue or pool. What a wonderful stay! The property was perfectly located minutes from the beach and the town of Jose Ignacio yet totally private in nature! The room was comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfasts were typical with bread, ham, cheese, fruit and sweets and eggs upon request. The setting is divine with a swimming pool, lush gardens, and a wonderful shared kitchen area with bbq! The owner Nikki was delightful, and very helpful with whatever your needs and questions were. It was out of season , so we had the place to ourselves. Everywhere was nice and quiet. Fantastic town, 20 min walk. And amazing beaches, 5 mins away. Breakfast was lovely with options to eat inside or out. Gaston was great and his English is very good. He spent lots of time with us explaining what to do and where to go. Bus service into Punta del Este was reliable and cheap, £2 a trip.

The location itself, right in the middle of the nowhere_ direct connection with nature. Bring our walking shoes, and binoculars! The room and the posada amenities are great. But what really stands out from other places is the kindness and attention to detail from the staff. They make you feel at home. The beach is very close_ 20-min away_ so it is perfect to combine hills and beach. Little tip: Plan our tip on full moon nights.... :)

The property is non-smoking and is situated 29 km from Artisans Craft Fair. Amazing property. All very clean and new. Gorgeous views to the ocean and to the lagoon. Very comfortable bed, pillows, and good shower. Excellent value for money. The owner is very nice, he recommended a couple of places nearby to go. He was very helpful

Good place to chill, nice pool for summers and Jaguzi as well. We extended our stay for one more day as we liked the place very much and comfortable.

Towels ad sheets were very good, also beach chair, umbrella and towels are a plus. It has light and air, the bathroom had everything needed. Though there are things that have to be improved: Light coming through unshade windows, no hooks for the towels.

But if I have to highlight something it would be the VIP service of their staff ( Specially Andy, Patricia and Jacinto) they truly want you to live a one in a lifetime experience. Also the rooms are super comfortable and clean and the location is one of the best you can get in Jose Ignacio.
