Katherine & Donald’s house has a lot of character and makes you immediately feel at home. I would recommend it if you are looking for an authentic experience. The hosts are awesome, the breakfast is always fresh. Katherine also prepared a “to go” breakfast for our hike.

Huge room and huge bed, off-street parking, peaceful location, few minutes walk to restaurants, made-to-order breakfast and very friendly hosts. Even though you are sharing part of their home, we felt very comfortable and welcomed there, and were given lots of information about the local area. Also interesting to meet other guests at breakfast.

Horizon is a beautiful property with well thought out amenities. It is close to the amenities and food options in Mariposa. Communication from Anne was very clear in relation to check in and check out. It was also great to be able to do laundry during our stay, particularly after multiple days of hiking. Extremely cute Chalet in Bass Lake just minutes from the Lake and 10-15 minute walk from the local shops and restaurants. The hosts were incredibly friendly and couldn’t do more to help.

It looks great, everything was clean and the location is stunning. We came late in the evening and it was really easy to find. There are signs to show the way. Bathroom was big and had everything you could need. There were information about the nature and the area around the appartment. Also the outdoor area was beautiful as well!
