It was an incredible surprise how fantastic the house and accommodations were. The staff were very friendly and helpful even before my arrival.

I was skeptical when reading reviews because it all seemed too good to be true. I booked the Almondy Inn with my family over Christmas and it far exceeded our expectations and it turns out the reviews are right! John and Laurence are amazing innkeepers. They are so thoughtful, attentive and kind. We enjoyed wine and cheese with them and the other guests on Christmas Eve and soon strangers started to feel like family. We stayed in the captains quarters which was perfect for our family so that we could be together in the living room and kitchen but have our privacy in separate rooms and bathrooms. The Inn was very well kept, spotless and beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. On top of that Laurence cooks the most amazing breakfast every morning (I’ve added some photos) and then bakes fresh cookies in the afternoon. What’s not to love?! We are already discussing plans to go back. Thank you so much for the incredible experience. It’s a Christmas that we will never forget.

Tesis, Touro Sinagogu'na ve Newport'taki International Tennis Hall of Fame'e 500 metre mesafededir. Tüm klimalı odalarda şömine, düz ekran TV ve bornoz bulunmaktadır. Breakfast was excellent! Daily wine and cheese was a fantastic touch. Staff were lovely and polite and nothing was too much.

Room was clean and comfortable, The people who run it were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the company of the other guests was nice! I forgot to mention while we were there that the home made cookies in our room were LOVELY! We'd love to come back!

Newport’s Mansion District'teki bu Victoria tarzı oda ve kahvaltı tesisi, Newport Limanı'na 1,6 km'den kısa mesafededir. Terasa sahip tesis şömine ve düz ekran TV ile zarif odalar sunmaktadır. Super friendly and engaged staff. On arrival we got a tour of the facilities with all the need to know. The facility was great and really nice. We very much liked the Victorian style of the facility. We were provided with an extended overview of things to do in Newport, including a list of the best restaurants with information on distance to the facility up to if the restaurant provides gluten free or vegan food. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious. We were regretting that our travel schedule did only allow for two nights. We could have stayed a couple of days more.

This bed and breakfast, a brick mansion built in 1858, is within a 10 minute walk to Waterplace Park. All rooms at the Christopher Dodge House have private bathrooms. Christopher Dodge House is a cozy place with warm staff, and amazing linens!
