Boasting garden and a sun terrace with a swimming pool, Banyan Tree B&B Retreat is set in Makawao, 27 km from Iao Valley State Park and 40 km from Wailea Emerald Course. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We did not had any problems finding the entrance but we were a bit lost once we arrived. But very quickly the owner showed up and from that point we just had a lovely experience! A very nice and kept cottage, we had a kitchen annex with everything you need, two king sized beds, a bathroom. Everything kept clean. Breakfast that helped us to get going throughout the day, and we could enjoy outside looking on a beautiful surroundings of trees, flowers ect. kept tidy by the owner. There was no problem even when we asked once to get the breakfast at a later our since we were out for the sunrise at Haleakala. I should not forget the evenings, because the property is placed a bit far from everything, this creates some beautiful stargazing moments, and we had every evening of our stay. We would love to comeback! One thing, you do need a CAR, to comfortably go to dinner or just about anywhere, when thinking about reserving this piece of heaven.
