We were in town for my father-in-laws funeral, and LPI was exactly the haven we needed. We felt cared for, yet we had space and privacy. Honestly, stepping onto the porch when we arrived may have been the first time we really “breathed” since we got the phone call about my father-in-laws passing 2 days prior. When my own mother and sister arrived for the funeral, we got them a room there as well.

Featuring a shared lounge, Wades Point Inn on the Bay is located in Saint Michaels in the Maryland region, 26 km from Academy of the Arts. Everything about this Inn was lovely! The rooms were beautifully furnished. We had picked a room with separate bathroom, but the owner let us choose wether we preferred another one. The area surrounding the Inn is gorgeous, and on the whole, our stay was super relaxing. Thank you so much!

Ideally located in the Little Italy neighborhood of Baltimore, BlancNoir is a bed and breakfast offering free WiFi access. The staff was phenomenal, greeting us a bit early to drop our bags ahead of check-in, they provided great suggestions for local eateries, attractions and directions to get there. Super friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating.

It's like a place out of an American romance movie with 21st century comfort (everything we need nowadays is available). The complimentary breakfast was very very tasty.

This waterfront boutique hotel overlooks the Chesapeake Bay and Choptank River. It boasts a private beach area with relaxing chairs. The Oxford-Bellevue Ferry is 1 minutes’ drive away. Beautiful house in a wonderful location. Room very comfortable. Totally relaxing.

Set within 40 km of New Carrollton and 1.8 km of Calvert Marine Museum, Solomons Victorian Inn features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Solomons. The hosts, Steve and Shaun, could not have been more welcoming. They gave us advice about where to go in Solomon’s and where to eat in the evenings. The Inn is lovely and beautifully furnished in a style that is perfect for an historic inn. Our room was well appointed and had in it everything that we needed and we had a lovely view of the sea. It was officially a bed and breakfast inn, but there were drinks and delicious homemade cakes and biscuits available all day. The 3 course breakfast was enough to last until afternoon tea at least! We loved the location and the well-tended gardens with plenty of places to sit and relax.
