She made us a warm breakfast early in the morning for no extra charge. The place is beautiful, clean, luminous and comfy. She made us feel at home. She is a charm. Soooo recommended!

Kehena Mauka Nui Club LGBTQIA+ Clothing Optional features a hot tub and free private parking, and is within 400 metres of Kehena Black Sand Beach and 25 km of Lava Tree State Monument. A nice house in the beautiful rainforest. We loved everything, especially the hot tub. The host was very kind and provided a ton of information regarding sights to visit and nearby events.

Kilauea House is set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, 45 km from Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, as well as 49 km from University of Hawaii, Hilo. Perfectly located a short drive from the national park entrance. The hosts were lovely and gave us local tips (one of them is a ranger at the national park). The room was so carefully appointed and the breakfast was fantastic, with so much food and a great variety. The garden outside the room was lovely too.

Graceful hosts. Rooms are well appointed with everything that you could need. Beautiful surroundings, great breakfast. Sea shore is beautiful with lava flow now solidified. Raven is the perfect hostess. Her husband is from a Hawaiian family, knows the place inside out - has maps and ideas about what to do. Plays good music..

Offering a garden and sea view, Orchid Tree B&B is situated in Hilo, 100 metres from Honoli'i Beach Park and 3.3 km from The Pacific Tsunami Museum. One of the most beautiful B&Bs I've had the pleasure of staying at. I will remember forever. We were in for a quick, one evening stay after getting engaged in Kona and my boyfriend (fiancé now!) and I could not have asked for a better place to celebrate 1 on 1. As PNW-ers, we love Hilo for its tropical rain. At Orchid Tree, you can look forward to: the most comfy bed (I gasped when I felt the pillows), tall ceilings with beautiful woodwork and a delightful breeze from the screen doors, and so many thoughtful, small touches. Every inch of the room was clean but it still felt homey, not sterile. Coffee, fresh fruit, and carbs in the morning, coupled with a sweet chat with Steve and fellow travelers. This B&B strikes the perfect balance of private and communal. At the end of our stay, my partner ran back in and Steve gave us a list of recs. We then proceeded in heading over to Steve's son's shaved ice shop (Aloha General Co - located at 28-1692 Old Mamalahoa Hwy, Honomu) to get one of the best desserts of our life and more caffeine. Highly recommend 'The Local' shaved ice. Could not have asked for a better stay. We hope to be back someday! For my foodies: For those who are celebrating (life or otherwise), Moon and Turtle was one of the best meals of my life and a trip to Hilo isn't complete without the fries and fry sauce at Hilo Tavern. ENJOY!

Very cozy place surrounded by a garden which provides most of the food. The hosts are friendly and interesting people. If you're lucky, you'll get a tour through the garden, with its different fruit trees and many other insights to help you get to know the surrounding area better.

Exceptional hosts who really make you feel at home! Very good location, walking distance from good restaurants and still in a very quite neighbourhood, you only hear the relaxing sound of the ocean. Located within 1.7 km of Rainbow Falls and 3.8 km of Lyman Museum & Mission House in Hilo, Old Hawaiian Bed and Breakfast provides accommodation with seating area. The breakfast was our favorite part . Lory put a lot of work and served every morning fantastic cakes and smoothies. It was really clean and parking was directly on the property. we loved it and would stay there again.
