This small hotel is wonderful, it is like staying at a museum. The staff and owner showed us around when we arrived and told us the history of the house. There are so many small details in every room. The rooms are fantastic and the breakfast is really good. It was a great stop on our way through Alabama.

The Heritage House Bed and Breakfast is lovely. I especially liked staying in room 5 because of its spaciousness and private entrance. The accommodation was inviting and elegant. The bedroom had a king-sized bed that was ridiculously comfortable and there was plenty of room to relax in the separate room. Coffee, teas, sodas, and bottled water were complimentary as well as a microwave and mini refrigerator. The dining area provided ample space for a larger group or single seating. The food was freshly prepared and very tasty. Complimentary mimosas were offered. I enjoyed the vintage decor and seeing wonderful collections of memorabilia and unique treasures that adorned the walls and rooms of this beautiful house. The location is about a 15-minute drive to downtown Auburn, but there are plenty of eateries and things to do within walking distance of the HHB&B. The overall experience at the Heritage House Bed and Breakfast was exceptional.

The house and owners were great. The owner referred us to a great local place to eat. And the breakfast they provided was outstanding.

Best Western University Inn is located in Tuscaloosa, 5.7 km from University of Alabama and 6 km from Bryant Denny Stadium. The hotel was better than we expected. The room was clean, not new, but neat. The smell is good. The A/C is good. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are clean. The towels are old but clean. The bathroom and toilet are clean and intact. The breakfast was excellent, the set was standard, but everything was delicious: a fresh soft sponge cake, a good low-fat pork patty (i wish it was from turkey though), delicious fried potatoes and omelet, wonderful yogurt from a special machine with great jam. There was cream cheese, good bread, bagels, and dry oatmeal. This is the first time I've loved breakfast in a Best Western so much! I liked that a girl in the kitchen watched everything was in order, she was very nice. The hotel has a very large, clean and nice swimming pool, more than 2 times the average size.
