They also had great recommendations for what to do in the small city of Midyat. Make sure to have google translate downloaded on your smartphone. English is not really spoken in this town. Which makes it more adventurous for those that don’t speak Turkish

I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and convenient stay!

Maristan Tarihi Konak was a totally outstanding experience: the 700 year old building, the staff support, the incredible view, the location, the room and healthy breakfast Emin and Sinan were amazing in the help they provided getting to and from the property and other day to day questions. They were a highlight of my stay in Mardin.

Situated within 1.1 km of Balikli Gol and 46 km of Harran, Taşkıran Hotel offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Sanlıurfa. Really chill and quiet place with friendly staff. Baz's English is great by the way which is not common here. The ambient is just awesome. Having breakfast next to the small fountain is pricless. We kept our motorcycles in front of the hotel. Although they have cameras the night receptionist kept checking it regulatly. Comfortable rooms and beds in authentic environment. Would definetely recommend. All the top attractions of the town are just a short walk away.

Offering a garden and inner courtyard view, Vefa Konagı is set in Sanlıurfa, 700 metres from Balikli Gol and 45 km from Harran. Lovely boutique hotel on a quiet street adjacent to the old part of Sanliurfa. The staff are so kind and helpful. Communication in English was no problem. They offered us tea, coffee, and delicacies on multiple occasions and took care of parking our too-large rental car for us safely every night with no problem. Breakfast was sumptuous. Our room was huge, with high ceilings and a lovely private patio, overlooking a larger patio below. The room had many amenities, including a tea kettle and mini-fridge, as well as air-conditioning, which we appreciated in the hot weather. The bed was really comfortable. I loved staying here and would recommend it highly to other travelers.

Staff was extremely helpful, giving lots of local color and assisting us with advice for the town and the region. Breakfast was outstanding and the accommodations were quite comfortable. Very convenient to the Balikli Gol and other old town locations. Parking available / included in front of the Konak. Compared to other places we've stayed, great privacy, quiet, and cozy while still close to cultural activities.
