A beautiful new traditional house in the oasis of Tozeur. We loved the swimming pool under the palms and the superlative dinner.

Maison D’Hote is a 20-minute walk from the city centre of Tozeur and offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and a balcony overlooking the Golf de Tozeur. Incredibly friendly owners who are very open to having conversations with their guests. Travelled in the low season so had our room upgraded for free as they hadn’t many guests during our stay. The homecooked dinner we ordered was delicious, as was the breakfast which was included. This is what a bed & breakfast/Maison D’Hôtes should be and set a high bar for the rest of our travels in Tunisia.

The bungalows is a special place, in a palm grove. You feel like you are entering a different world, silent and beautiful. The one room apartment is new which is great because it means everything inside is new too and very well functioning. The ambience is cozy and chic, without being pretentious. A small kitchen corner with a fridge was very appreciated by us. There is heating/cooler to adjust the temperature to your own preferences, if needed. And outside is just wonderful. There are only palms all around for the cultivation of dates. And a pool that makes the atmosphere even more magic.. and can always be used to take a bath! We were a couple with a 3 year old kid who enjoyed running around the property a lot. We were very spoiled during the whole stay by the owner. He was able to accommodate all our needs with grace and warmth and at the same time to leave us our privacy. The place is 5 min away on foot to a spot where you can rent a dromedary for a walk or the quad for a drive. It is perfect to enjoy the sunset too! Going the other way, you can walk toward the center of Tozour (which is not super close on foot but you can reach it very quickly on a carriage!). With a 10 min walk you can also reach a lovely museum on the history of the country which I would recommend. Ah and in front of the bungalows there is a lovely cafe, where you can get several different beverages. Beautiful spot too to relax !!

This accommodation is truly exceptional—the most amazing place I've ever stayed. It feels like a colonial palace, exquisitely styled with traditional details. Impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend it. Staying here is a must for anyone visiting Tozeur.

Objekat Riad Dar El Caid - Palais XIII Siecle, koji je smešten u gradu Tauzar, u ponudi ima besplatan WiFi, a gostima su na raspolaganju bazen na otvorenom, vrt i terasa. I had a wonderful time at Dar El Caid and would definitely stay there again. It's such a beautiful place, with special decorative touches that give it a very unique feel. It's like a lovely little oasis tucked away within the medina. It was peaceful, clean, and very quiet, which I really appreciated, and there's even a cute resident turtle who hangs out near the pool. The staff are also exceptional.- kind and very welcoming. Issam made himself available at all hours and was willing to help in any way he could, even offering to bring me medication when I was sick for a day and arranging a personal tour to nearby sites when I felt better. His hospitality and service to the people who stay there are top-notch, and I hope his employer appreciates his dedication as much as I did. Because of him and everything else I've mentioned, I can say that I recommend this hotel without hesitation!

This hotel was beautiful and quiet and we loved staying here among all the date palms. We had a lovely dinner by the pool, which would have been nice for swimming in warmer weather. Wish we'd had time to use the cinema room as well!

We were so impressed with every aspect of our stay. This truly is an oasis with an oasis. We cannot fault any part of our stay. Staff were kind and attentive and communication warm and friendly. We have no hesitation in giving the highest recommendation to this establishment.
