I couldn’t get of the design and architecture. The hospitality of the place is another key highlight. The owner and his mother run the place. They are so lovely and warm. The owner took us on a tour of the Médina and told us about the history of it which was super interesting. He was also kind enough to take us out to explore the city in the evening inviting us to a concert in the grand museum. His mother makes the best breakfast I’ve had in Tunisia. You could feel the love in the dishes. I felt at home the whole time and was sad to leave. If and when I’m back in Tunisia next, I’m definitely adding sousse to my itinerary just to stay at this lovely Dar.
