Our room was well appointed, very clean and very comfortable. The view? Incredible!. The staff are wonderful! Our host, Don was warm, helpful & welcoming, and organized an excellent boat tour of surrounding islands that he conducted personally. We so enjoyed our time at Hillhouse. We can't say enough about it!

The host & her daughter were so funny and exceptionally welcoming! They made sure everything was perfect for our stay and were super helpful even with the language barrier. They were able to provide us 2 scooter rentals (koh yao yai was the only place in Thailand that I drove my own scooter it was very calm and remote). They brought us water and home made breakfast (the fried dough was amazing!) They were able to provide us a laundry service and our clothes came back very clean. I highly recommend staying at Relaxing House Koh Yao Yai and booking a Hong Island Boat Tour through the owner, it was our favorite boat tour that we did on our two months traveling throughout Thailand. The beaches were beautiful. It's a little away from the main tourist area which we found nice, a short 15 minute scooter ride if we wanted to get over to the resorts/ shopping. The bungalow was clean and we loved the owner's kitty's coconut would have my morning coffee with me while I worked remotely.

We have been so well received in this place. The owner has been tremendously helpful with heaps of tips, things to do in the area. I got food poisoning and she ordered food for me so I could rest The bungalow is lovely and clean, with an amazing view on the mountain.

Surrounded by nature, perfectly located in the middle of the island. Very quiet and relaxing resort. Hosting family really nice. The place is spotless and the bed is comfortable. The price is super fair for the quality of the resort. You can also rent the scooter at the property.

Bangmee, Anna and her aunty were super welcoming and very helpful in assisting us for our every need. The place in itself is paradisal, the bungalow was nice and cosy, with A/C.

The small restaurant on the property was so charming and comfortable! The breakfast was very good. We had lunch there once and it was also great!

If I could, I’d stay in this place for months. Is extremely peaceful, with butterflies and birds singing in the day, and sounds of nature in the night. There’s a huge and stunning garden in the front. The accommodation is gorgeous, well maintained, very clean. And the hostesses, so kind and helpful with anything that you need: boat trips, ferries, transfers, motorbikes, everything! Lovely cats in there too. The Island itself is marvelous and all the locals were so friendly, no doubt I will come back.
