Can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner is so nice and helpful with everything you need. Location is great, just about a 5 minute walk from Chiang Khan walking street, and the garden setting is beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are beautiful as well. On the first morning we had a huge plate of fruit and snacks waiting on our front porch, and all day free coffee station and free use of bicycles make this place the best value for the price. You have the option to have your room cleaned everyday, which we chose not to, and we still got fresh towels, soaps and water bottles every morning. Ended up staying here an extra night because we loved it so much.

Situated in Chiang Khan in the Loei Province region, บ้านขวัญกมล features accommodation with free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. Staff was very welcoming. Very clean. Pick up service from bus station. Free bicycle available to discover the surroundings.

Smile Box Coffee & Resort er staðsett í Ban Nong Hin og býður upp á gistingu með setusvæði. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir vatnið og innri húsgarðinn. I like the facilities. (WiFi, beds, hot water, fridge all good.) The rooms themselves are nicely furnished shipping containers, but the resort as a whole has a lot of places to sit outside in the shade, there are flowers and butterflies, and its hilltop location means there is always a breeze. I stayed a week to go to the Phi Ta Khon ghost festival, but the resort is also centrally located in Loei, so I could also visit Phu Kradueng. The staff is efficient, making real coffee (not instant), doing laundry, arranging transport, etc. Can't be bettered for a quiet long stay. (The town, Nong Hin, has a food hall, 7-Eleven, bank, pharmacy, and shops.) The mountainous countryside is gorgeous.

The surrounding gardens with big old trees a water pond and many other plants gives shade to the rooms and shelter to many animals. As I stayed during the Rainy season no AC was needed as my unit has a big screened balcony door that could be opened.
