I would give this accommodation a 12 out of 10 if I could. Sabina and her partner were lovely, friendly hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We felt really welcome. The wood cabin was beautiful, spotlessly clean and really comfy. The garden is lush and green, lots of birds and butterflies around. The pool is clean and perfect for a refreshing dip in the midday heat. This is by far the best accommodation we've had in our 4 months of travelling around South east Asia. We felt so relaxed. The beautiful beach and nice beach bars are a 5min scooter ride or a comfortable 20min stroll, there are also plenty of nice restaurants around the area too. Sabina gave us great tips and ideas for the area and helped us book or onward taxi to the pier. Thank you Samui Bluebird for a wonderful stay!
Amphoe Koh Samui
Situated right in the heart of Amphoe Koh Samui, 200 metres from Chaweng Beach, Chaweng Town Hotel features air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. With free private parking, the property is 2.2 km from Chaweng Noi Beach and 6.5 km from Fisherman Village. The property is non-smoking and is set 7 km from Big Buddha. The owners are really amazing, helpfull and sweet 🫶🏼 (note that they're Spanish: English can be a challenge). Good aircon and shower. The room is very basic, wich was alright for me (especially given the price).
Ban Lamai
The units in the bed and breakfast are equipped with a coffee machine. Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and free toiletries, all units at the bed and breakfast have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and selected rooms also offer a terrace. At the bed and breakfast, the units include bed linen and towels. Really modern accommodation and bathroom. Pool is right infront of your room. The Dutch couple is super nice and helpful. Nightmarket is like a 10 min walk away.
Ban Bang Po
Fitted with a balcony, the accommodation offers air conditioning and features a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with shower. The units come with a safety deposit box and some rooms come with sea views. Extremely nice place. Very lovely owner and staff. Clean bright rooms. Made to feel very welcome. Right on the beach.

A modern luxury boutique hotel right on the beachfront, in a lush garden setting. The restaurant had delicious food with an interesting menu and was in the most picturesque location overlooking Bophut Beach. Great cocktails too. The villa was spacious and private with it's own pool. The staff were friendly and warm and we felt valued and welcome by everyone. It is a special place.
Good location, at end (or beginning) of Bophut strip. Quiet, rooms face towards beach (ours looked directly onto pool). - beach was beyond that. On-site bar with drinks available all day (though they are cheaper & better value at ‘The Hut’ over the road or even cheaper at 7-Eleven & great fresh fruit smoothies (50 baht) from the lady in the cart opposite the bigger 7-Eleven (with car parking at front). Air-con not working when we arrived, reported it & they sorted it straight away.
Very great location close to anywhere in Lamai beach. For beds per room, every room got aircon and private bathroom. You can book cheap transportation to Surat Thani or Phuket. Tutu car to Chaweng costs 100B , remember to bargain.
Great location on the more quiet south west side of the island with enough local cafes, restaurants and the most beautiful sunsets. Also the luxury Air Bar of the Intercontinental hotel is on walking distance. Amazing views. Wilfred and Brenda are wonderful hosts and very informative, helpful and no question is too much. Next to that they have their own private terrace/beach access behind the villas. Very beautiful.
Good location, on the quieter end of Chaweng so not much noise. Maybe a 15/20 minute walk to the Samui centre. If you’re not fussed about your accommodation in Samui and looking for a cheap private option this is fine but not amazing in my opinion
It was quiet, relaxing and spacious enough for 3 guys to feel comfortable. It was a bit far from the city centre, but the lady at the reception would call us a taxi and it was cheaper than the prices we would be given to return which was appreciated. We stayed for one night during travels to other islands, but I would stay here again for sure.
The hotel was very modern and it even has a fitness centre which I was missing! We had been staying in cheap guest houses and changing to this hotel was luxury for us. The room was spacious and they make it every day with a change of towels. It's s great location, minutes walk from the main busy road and the beach.
Great location easily walkable to Lamai but on a quiet edge with the end of the beach feeling much more private. The host was so kind with two gorgeous puppies (now 6 months old)
Really liked that it was quiet at night. The whole place was very clean. They arranged a taxi for me for cheaper than other places. I also got upgraded to a private room which was lovely with a massive bed.
