Altea Hostal is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Santa Ana, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. The rooms are comfortable and spotlessly clean. We liked that the shared bathrooms are shared between two rooms so you have access directly from your room. The WiFi is great and the communal kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals. There are plenty of markets and restaurants nearby as well, including a puperseria just meters from the front door. The hostess doesn’t speak English but she’s happy to help with anything you need. The included breakfast is very tasty.

Very well thought out: beds with curtains, comfy mattress, two plugs, personal fan and light. Pupusa class with Galilea and walking tour with Hector were great. Common area and kitchen were nice! Would highly recommend for about 3 nights in Santa Ana. We stayed in off season and had a lovely socia lowkey vibe. Location was perfect.

Fantastic place to stay. Comfy beds. Location is good, a couple of minutes walk up the road there some places to eat and a supermarket 5 minutes walk. Very secure parking for my motorbike. Really nice hostel in the centre (just few blocks from the cathedral), the guy at the reception was very friendly and welcoming. Wifi works well. My room was nice and comfy, with space to hang clothes and with a ventilator (the room wasn't too hot even without it). You can also use the kitchen (and they have a filter, so the water is drinkable) and hang out on a lovely patio.

Situated in Santa Ana, Casa isabel features a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The property has garden and inner courtyard views. we had a great stay at Casa Isabel. Manuel was very welcoming and attentive and very nice to talk to. We arrived unannounced and he came straight from work to let us in the property within minutes of messaging him. The room is basic but comfortable and the patio and garden area is nice and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and the wifi is good. The property is located a short walk from the park/cathedral and restaurants etc. Manuel also gave us some delicious avocados straight from the tree!
