Ta Fabrika Restavracija, pizzerija in prenočišča, a property with a terrace, is set in Dravograd, 16 km from Benedictine Monastery St. We were on a bike a tour with a group of friends from Austria forward to Slovenian and our accomodation was here. The staff was super kind and fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. We also used the restaurant part and it was also a really good one for dinner and and breakfast as well. I can suggest this place for traveller and cyclists as well.

Firstly - we were late, but the staff was very accommodating. They waited for us and gave us the option of postponing our reserved dinner slot - they also recommended when to have dinner to avoid the rush our. In the mean time, they gave us recommendations what to see in the region - we had a loose plan, so their suggestions were very welcome. The staff was super friendly and we even got a free upgrade of our primary reservation. The staff was very professional, yet very friendly and "homey". It felt like we were visiting good relatives, although we've never met or been here before. Kudos for service and hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable - the staff went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The server noticed one of us was a smoker, so they gave us directions, where we can smoke if we should have a need for it. Finding the room was also very simple, because they gave us all the necessary information to find it and make the most of it. We booked a dinner table with some food preferences and they pulled through - dinner was exceptional (Michelin star quality). We wanted a mix of a "traditional dinner" with regional cuisine. The food we were served - I would never in my right mind order something like this, but it was soooooooo good, that we were seriously considering a little nap after dinner. The portions were enormous and so tasty. They met all our expectations and went above and beyond when serving us. I especially liked the presentation of the food served - each dish came with a story and a background how it's made and where it's sourced from (locally of course). The ambient in the restaurant was also very nice - we were impressed by the modern, yet traditional decor that really gave you the general vibe of the region where you're staying. Since we were pressed for time, they also gave us the option to have an open tab to cover when we left - which was super nice and a true lifesaver.

Featuring a garden, shared lounge and views of city, Boutique hotel Pri lipi Muta is located in Muta, 32 km from Benedictine Monastery St. Paul. The breakfast was included and was very fulfilling. Breakfast time was agreeable on site. Dinner was pre-purchased through e-mail - the menu included traditional, delicious Slovenian food. The interior was very traditional and antique (smell of antique furniture was present but nothing too intrusive), left a big and lasting impression (please, keep the hotel interior like that!). The communication with the staff (owner) onsite and through e-mail was very easy and quick. Their kindness was appreciated. Highly recommended if you want a getaway or stop between Lake Bled/Maribor or just hang around close to the ski fields.

Na trati Pension is a recently renovated guest house in Črna na Koroškem, where guests can make the most of its garden and bar. Fantastically beautiful location. The rooms are very modern , tastefully decorated . The owner is very attentive , helpful .

A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Mežica, BikeSki family hotel, b&b, apartaments, rooms is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the city. Everything! Cool place, amazing hosts amd friendly dog as a bonus 😉 I will come back again 😎

Smučarska koča, a property with a garden and a bar, is located in Kotlje, 23 km from Werner Berg Museum, 24 km from RibniÅ¡ko Pohorje -Kope Ski Area, as well as 32 km from Hemmaberg Globasnitz. Beautifull, traditional with delicious food. Clean and cozy room. The host's are very nice and kind. I'l sure be coming back there.
