The Sheep Inn B&B biedt accommodatie in Arvika. De badkamers worden gedeeld. U kunt een ontbijtmand met ingrediënten voor een Engels ontbijt reserveren. We kwamen aan en hadden niet nagedacht over avond eten maar de eigenaar had een volledig gevulde koelkast en vriezer waar we gebruik van mochten maken. Bij aankomst heeft hij ons verwelkomt met een lekker hapje en drankje. Ook heeft hij verteld wat wij allemaal konden bezoeken en zien in de buurt. Alles was goed verzorgd en schoon.

THE LODGE Torsby is gevestigd in een historische B&B (Est.1836) en ligt 18 km ten noorden van Torsby en 50 km van Sunne of Malung. Prachtige plek aan het water, mooi historisch huis, aardige mensen met hart voor de zaak

Guesthouse Eleven Hotel is gevestigd in een voormalig schoolgebouw van ongeveer 100 jaar geleden. Het pand ligt in het pittoreske dorp Jössefors. a converted school building, it was conveniently located on our route to Norway. We found the Dutch owners very hospitable and going out of their way to please guests. Atmosphere as well as food (we had moose stew...) were very good, rooms clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Cafè Bistro Moccacino ligt in Ekshärad en biedt een restaurant. In de omgeving van de bed & breakfast kun je wandelen, skiën en kanoën. Delightfully located when we were visiting a horse-riding farm about 4 km from the Cafe. We were totally impressed with the exceptionally clean and well-laid out room. There was an ante-chamber to the actual room where you can easily get rid of all your shoes/muddy stuff and keep the actual room clean. Great space without the room, with adequate wardrobe space for two people for a short stay. We got organized in no time. Included in the offer, we had a generous assortment of candies/coffee/tea. The idea of having a cold sandwich in the fridge (also included in the price) was as original as we found it practical and thoughtful. The food from the kitchen of the bistro is also excellent! We tried the papegojekaka and it was really nice along with some of the fish soup that was unctuous and delicious. In the little place of Ekshärad, it is amazingly placed too, right across of a well-furnished grocery store (ICA) and next door to a decent restaurant (the Ayasofya). When we are travelling again to Yggenäs, we will definitely consider this place again, if I am alone or with my wife. Especially since this stay was amazingly affordable.

Bergsmansgårdens Gästhus ligt in Asphyttan, op 69 km van Karlstad en op 9 km van Filipstad. Er is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. Location is exceptional, with very tidy gardens, a beauriful lake at the back. Cleaniness was extremely good to a 'all is new' level. The bed is more than comfortable. This self-contained apartment has a full equiped kitchen and the space all around is very ample. Amazingly quiet, with nature birds and a well cared big grass area. Fiber wi-fi and parking aee free. The host was more than attentive and showed me all around his historic and renewed property. At my departure they offered me to share their coffee and fresh plums from the tree for my ongoing trip.
