Our room was perfect and the bed was comfortable, soft but supportive and my hip bursitis was so happy! When we awoke we found that each room is decorated with its own personality. The common area is mid century modern and very light and welcoming. The shared bath was big enough and comfortable. The recommendation of John Scott for our lunch was spot on. If we are able to return, we will stay here again.

My wife and I have stayed here many times in the past under the previous owners. Due to covid and illness, this was our first occasion under the new ownership. Everything as expected, friendly, helpful staff, clean room, good breakfast and freedom to come and go as we pleased during the day. BBC channel on TV enabled the general election drama to be watched as it happened!
