Excellent place for a stop-over (as it was our case). Friendly and helpful host. Most grateful for his kind willingness to await for our arrival very late at night (to be more accurate very early AM !). Kids loved the two sweetest bunnies in the yard: "Sampon" and "Hugo". :) Parents enjoyed the cold beer in the back yard pavilion, the large comfy, spatious family room and the free coffee offered by the host. Recommend!

Everything was top quality. The view on the Danube was amazing. Nice restaurant with very good food where you can have all meals, not only breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.

Boasting mountain views, BLISS Dubova features accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and a terrace, around 38 km from Iron Gate I. The location is excellent and it's really bliss there, especially in the spring how we went. Probably in summer it gets more crowded. The view is really nice and the breakfast was one of the best I have had in an accommodation.

Set within 30 km of Iron Gate I and 4.7 km of Rock Sculpture of Decebalus, Casa Celestin offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Eşelniţa. The rooms were big enough for a couple, very clean, the balconies are facing a gorgeous view. The kitchen is very well equipped, the dinning area has plenty of space so you can enjoy your meal. The pool area is lovely. There is an additional private beach at the Danube's bank that is equipped with a grilling space.

Situated in Orşova, 20 km from Iron Gate I, NOAH river house features accommodation with a hot tub. It is located 21 km from Rock Sculpture of Decebalus and provides a shared kitchen. Fantastic location, nice hospitality and well equipped common kitchen and living room. The common terrace, the gazebo and the pier has an amazing panorama! The roads are - except from the last 150 meters, what they started to renew just when we left the house - in good condition. Worth a visit, I think this is by far the best accommodation in the area.
