The room I slept in has a nice terrace and you can hear the soothing sound of the river flowing near by. But more importantly, the hosts are absolutely amazing! Not only did they make sure everything is ok with the room, but they served me with a very good capuccino in the morning and they provided a very pleasant company, sharing life stories and providing recommendations about the surroundings. This is a place I highly recommend and will be returning every time I am in the Domogled-Cernei area.

We had a great stay at the Rio. The host was very welcoming and friendly, and the apartment is newly furbished, clean and tidy. There is a coffee maker on the balcony you can use. What really sells this place is the garden which extends to the Cerna river - an unbelievably cool place to spend a summer afternoon. Note however that it is not near to the center of Baile Herculane and that there are not many facilities or attractions nearby, it is a peaceful place you can use as a base to explore the surroundings.
