The man of the house greeted us uppon arrival and then treated us with a welcome drink - a traditional high alcoholic beverage, like Bulgarian rakia for me and a low alcoholic cherry liquore for my wife. The lady of the house offered us coffee from the coffee machine that was on our disposal in the kitchen area, showed us around the kitchen and on the next morning (it was Orthodox Easter) she treated us with peaces of homemade cake, freshly boiled home milk and also gave us amazingly hand-painted eggs! The hospitality of these people was out of this world! We can't thank them enough for the way they made us feel at home!
