Located 14 km from Natur Waterpark, Casa dos Correios offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. Casa Dos Correios in Vila Real is truly a hidden gem! We stayed here for one night during our wine tour in the Douro region. The place is simply perfect and charming. The rooms are exactly as advertised, if not better. The beds were very comfortable and we had the best sleep here! One of the highlights is how the history of the house, once an old post office, is thoughtfully woven throughout the property. It was fascinating to learn about its past while enjoying such a modern and beautiful space. There is also a local hiking path with a waterfall closeby, which we unfortunately didn't have time to explore. Hope to come back someday! A big thank you to the owner/manager, who was very friendly and helpful :)

Featuring mountain views, Casa dos 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro features accommodation with patio, around 1.3 km from Douro Museum. Great place to stay when visiting the Douro Valley. Well located at the beginning of a great drive into the valley. Casa 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro is brand new and the facilities are excellent. Also the hosts were very nice and most helpful. I have no hesitation recommending Casa 4 Caminhos - Guest House Douro for your stay when visiting the Douro Valley. Also they have parking right next door within the building which is most helpful.

Zimão Garden House is located in Vila Real, 30 km from Natur Waterpark, 31 km from Golf Course Vidago Palace, and 43 km from Douro Museum. The hostess was Very kind en told us everything we needed to know . We loved it so much that we will return. Thank you Eva for this wonderful experience. And thanks for the kiwi's..

Casa do Arco is an extraordinary property for a stay while visiting the heart of Douro Valley. The architecture is quite beautiful in its simplicity and natural touches. The place is in itself designed to feel like you are staying in a house, and with only 3 rooms available it feels very private. The house itself is built on a hill which endows it with amazing views over Pinhão and the Douro that can be enjoyed through incredible floor to ceiling windows. The breakfast was served at the table with fresh products from the region. The dining experience they provide was wonderful and I truly recommend it. The beef was cooked to perfection. The hosts and the staff were always very warm and helpful with planning our visit.
