The hotel is in perfect condition, it’s fairly new and everything is high quality. The host, Joana, made the experience even better. She always went the extra mile to make sure that we are comfortable. Even better, she helped me buy and prepare things for my friend’s birthday I also liked that there is a kitchen so you can easily cook your meals as well and all the utilities are there.

Located in the centre of Manteigas, Casa D’Avenida is a newly renovated family house, sited within the Serra da Estrela Natural Park. Wonderful staff who took exceptionally good care of us with everything from parking to giving us tips about the area. They even personally made us orange juice and sent us off with cakes, bars and sandwiches for hiking lunch at breakfast.
