We had an amazing stay! The staff was so friendly, helpful and accommodating, they made our stay even more special. They even left a birthday treat for my partner. Breakfast was also top notch - delicious local cheese, bread, scrambled eggs, fruits, pastries, everything is fresh and tasty. Soundproofed rooms, despite having window facing through street, it was very quiet even on a Saturday night. Recommend this hotel 👍🏻

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, Solar de Santo André is a recently renovated guest house located in Ponta Delgada, 12 km from Pico do Carvao. We had a phenomenal stay at Solar de St. André. We stayed for a week and were blown away by the standard of the accommodation and the fantastic hospitality. Eduarda and her team are brilliant and genuinely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. We were always made to feel welcome and were even invited to a nearby concert, which was excellent. Marina deserves a special mention as she not only prepared fab breakfasts each morning, but gave us local advice, recommendations and just nice chit chat! Our room - the blue room - had everything we needed, super clean, well appointed and quiet. Comfortable bed. The hotel is like a museum, everything is charming and quaint but also modern and well-finished. Breakfast selection was always great, local produce and coffee always on hand . We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place.

Located just 8.5 km from Pico do Carvao, Vila Rosario features accommodation in Ponta Delgada with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as luggage storage space. Everything was absolutely good. We were really appreciate for breakfast, especially the breakfast box on the last early morning. The staff is very flexible and very kind. The environment is really modern and clean. All together we spent amazing time on Sao Miguel and Vila Rosario was perfect for us.

Set 12 km from Pico do Carvao, DMCharme offers air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. With inner courtyard views, this accommodation features a patio. Bed is comfortable. Private bathroom is huge. The host is very attentive and helpful. Daniel helped me with taxi when I was in the middle of the island.

Landescape Furnas in Furnas provides adults-only accommodation with a rooftop pool, a garden and a terrace. The bed and breakfast features a spa experience, with its sauna, hot tub and hammam. the location and the property are beautiful. the room was very comfortable and functional.

CITY STONE HOUSE in Ponta Delgada provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. I want to recommend this accommodation to everyone who comes to the azores! A great accomodation and an even grater host! He really cares for your wellbeing and for you to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! He provided us with every help and assistance, from tips where to go out for dinner to rainy-day-program, with bath towels for each day and even bathtowels to go to the hot springs (which are a must do in our opinion but thats another story) The room was very nice, clean and had everything we needed (thanks for the anti-moskito-plug! Made our nights very peaceful). In the shared area is even a fully equipped kitchen, there is coffe and even a garden to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. Locationwise you can get to the city center via a short walk, there is one excellent fish restaurant down the street and you have a parking opportunity suitable for mainland europeans ;) Everything you need is close by. A good location for a stress-free getaway in Algarvia, Casa Baleia a Vista is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. Manuela is very sweet and caring towards the guests, she makes an amazing breakfast! This is a shared home, but privacy was very well respected.

Featuring mountain views, Pousada da Vila provides accommodation with patio, around 500 metres from Praia do Corpo Santo. The owner was a real friendly person, and very welcoming. She made sure I was properly checked in and everything was in order, and gave some extra tips about the small town.
