The breakfast was delicious and rich, with hand made products. but best thing are Anne-Lise and Jeremy: two people of rare kindness. we also had dinner there one evening and it was clearly the best dinner of the whole holiday, superior to any restaurant tried, a starred restaurant dinner! A good location for a stress-free stay in Lajes do Pico, Casa da Ribeira is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. The place is beautiful and the hosts are really great, it almost feels like staying with family. We were only there for 3 days but we had a great time. The breakfast is phenomenal and talking with Mario and Palmira is very fun and interesting. If we ever come back to Pico we will definitely stay at Casa da Ribeira.

Amazing place with a view of the sea, falling asleep and listening to the rumbling of the ocean was fantastic. Nice and helpful owners, one felt maximally comfortable. Everything clean and new, very good quality and comfortable mattresses, great to sleep. Very good breakfast with homemade pastries, jam, cheese from the island and other goodies. A short drive from Madalena, just a few houses away is the top restaurant Stone. Good place for other trips. Very satisfied. Thank you.
