El Conde De Atrini offers accommodation set 4.3 km from the centre of Santo Domingo and features a garden and a bar. The property features sea and lake views, and is 300 metres from Montesinos. It was great. Clean, comfortable and the staff so friendly and helpful. I’d be definitely coming back and would recommend this place hands down. My stay was excellent.

The room was absolutely beautiful as was the property. Lots of thoughtful details, like a bug swatter lol. The bed was big and comfortable, and there was an automatic shade so you could make it dark in the room. The coffee maker was really nice. We had a problem with the hot water but that's because we turned the handle the wrong way, and nevertheless the manager came over on a sunday night to help fix it. The restaurant is closed on sunday (we didn't know this) so we didn't get to try it, but the following day after breakfast (which was delicious-- fruit was so sweet and perfect) we treated ourselves to some of the amazing cocktails and they did not disappoint.

Offering quiet street views, casa maria is an accommodation set in La Romana, 8.1 km from Teeth of the Dog and 12 km from Dye Fore. Excellent place to stay. We used it to bridge the time between two cruises. Bus station to Santo Domingo in walking distance. Very clean place. Hot water in shower. Silent A/C. Spacy living room to meet other travellers. Very nice interior. Fantastic hosts, that were very friendly, exceptional helpful that let one feel really at home. We got pampered. Safe and quiet place to stay. French or Spanish knowledge is an advantage. Have not been to places like this that often.

Complete with a shared lounge, Akunamatata Guest House Grand Case is situated in Grand Case, 200 metres from Grand Case Beach and 2.9 km from Anse Marcel Beach. Nice designed, very clean and calm room with everything you need in the common area like garden, kitchen, hammock, papaya, drinking water, mosquito net, … Very friendly host Jamal who did everything to feel comfortable. Only some meters from the turquoise beach and from good Caribbean restaurants away. Note: the very clean bathroom has to be shared with 2 other rooms.

Set in San Felipe de Puerto Plata and only 1.3 km from Long Beach, Gaia Residence Deluxe offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Would recommend staying here. it’s very clean, the room is spacious and Marina is very nice and helpful. She will make sure you’ll have every information you need. The breakfast is nice as well. Restaurants, supermarket and the beach is close by.

Offering a garden and sea view, Turquoise B&B is located in Willemstad, 1.7 km from Playa Marichi and 1.2 km from Queen Emma Bridge. Sidney, the host, will make you feel you are in home. The accommodation has everything that you need for a really comfortable stay. The breakfast was awesome too and having the recommendations of the host was great in order to better plan our days.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of sea, De Octopus is a recently renovated bed and breakfast located in Sint Michiel, 1.9 km from Blue Bay Beach. This is an absolutely fantastic place for people who want to spend time in peace and away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts are wonderful and very helpful. There is everything you could need on site. Very close to a small beach with almost no people. Great places for snorkeling and diving. The village where De Octopus is located is friendly, peaceful and safe. I spent a wonderful, relaxing time there! To be honest, I didn't expect so many different animals (I'm not talking about the owners' wonderful dogs and cat, of course 🙂), but after all, that's what living close to nature entails. Fortunately, the mosquito net allowed me to sleep undisturbed🙂

Set in Lucea in the Hanover region, Blue Paloma Bed & Breakfast has a patio. This bed and breakfast features a pool with a view, a garden and free private parking. Theg property is very well thought through , given a very local touch and is very well maintained. Andrea, who is the owner has done a fabulous job with both interior and exteriors. the property is very clean, spacious and welcoming. we enjoyed the stay as the B&B host were very welcoming and made us feel at home. If one is looking for a real feel of Jamica , one needs to look at staying at places such as Blue Paloma. the breakfast is local Jamaican breakfast that is freshly made by the cool very morning with nice fresh juices. The team is very well organized , friendly , accommodative and warm. Our dietary restrictions were noted and food was customized to it. The swimming pool hours were extended for us. we were offered fresh coconut water and also the seasonal drinks. The host had family visiting for the holidays and the family members were very welcoming and we felt like we were part of the family during our stay. Overall, this is a fabulous place and I look forward to staying here again on my next visit. thanks to Andrea, Mark and the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable.

Located in La Parguera, within 16 km of Porta Coeli Religious Art Museum and 28 km of Guanica Dry Forest, Casa Bonita Inn provides accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property as... Lili was a fantastic hostess and we had a lovely time. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quaint place to spend a few days. The location was great -- nice if you have a car to drive into the town, but definitely walkable if so desired.
