Set in San Juan, Almare Guest House Siquijor offers beachfront accommodation less than 1 km from Tubod Beach and offers various facilities, such as a private beach area and a garden. This place is a must if you visit Siquijor. The room is next to the ocean, during the night you can hear the waves. One of the guys went with me in the morning for snorkeling (free snorkeling equipment!) and we directly saw 5-6 turtles swimming around. The people were so kind! This was a marvelous stay and I can really recommend to come here. They also organized me a transportation from and to the port with a super friendly driver. It’s a 10/10!

Bijela posteljina mi je uvijek top jer se bolje može oprati i vidiš da li je čisto pa im je to prvi plus, drugi je normalna klima koja je tiha. Sobe su malo manje ali uredne i čiste, dovoljno ručnika i udoban krevet. Najbolji smještaj koji smo imali u cijelim Filipinima. Vlasnik nam je poslao detaljne upute kako naći smještaj i po udio mogućnost automobila, motora ili nekog drugog prijevoza ako treba negdje doći po nas.

Having an amazing snorkeling beach literally at your doorstep was a dream come true - sea turtles and thousands of tropical fish in the reef, star fish, octopus asked much more. The view from the cliff top is very hard to look away from! The staff and owners were fabulous, we felt more like family than guests. Nothing was too hard, everything was easily organised on our behalf, and on new years eve we were invited to dinner with the families to experience true Filipino style food. The gardens are fantastic and very carefully maintained by the green thumb owner! The resident dogs and cat were an extra special touch. Security was great and we felt very safe at all times. Being past partying age, we loved the quiet sanctuary and a small number of rooms meant a much more personal experience getting to know other guests and staff attentiveness.
