We ate all our meals on property and could taste the passion for cooking in every dish. Top rated ingredients. Went away completely satisfied after every meal.

Boasting a balcony with garden views, a private beach area and a garden, Sambag Hideaway Bungalows can be found in Moalboal, close to Panagsama Beach and 25 km from Kawasan Falls. Despite our luck with the weather, Sambag Hideaway was located in a great location, 10mins away from the busy main beach. We could hangout in the bar area, with hammocks and huts, enjoying the thunderstorm. The host was also amazing, giving us local tips and suggestions for places to visit and local guides so we felt we were in safe hands. The best was her suggestion of getting a transfer from Moalboal to Oslob to see the whale sharks then getting the ferry to Panglao, something we didn't know about prior to visiting and was worth getting up at 4.30am for. Thanks for the great time, loved every minute of it

Located in Moalboal, 400 metres from Basdiot Beach, Beyond Island provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Cozy, clean and pleasant looking. It's a really well put together place to stay. The reception lady is very friendly and helpful. She helped us carry luggage (herself!), got us on an accredited tour, lent us some water shoes for it and booked us an early tricycle to the bus on the way out.

200 metres from Basdiot Beach, Ananas Guesthouse is a recently renovated property located in Moalboal and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. This place was great. The staff is super cool. The location is fantastic and very quiet as well. Will definitely stay here again when back in Moalboal.

It's like staying at home with friends. The atmosphere is so nice and peaceful. The lawn and garden are just beautiful and relaxing. Teo and Arlyn are wonderful hosts and can help with anything you need. They have scooters for hire and the guesthouse is closer to White Beach than Panagsama where the sardines, bars and restaurants are. The rooms are swept daily and the sheets changed every two days. It is kept immaculate! If you are not sure how long you'll want to stay in the area, book it for a few days longer so you won't have to move. The beds are very comfortable. Very. I slept so well here. They offer breakfast only, not included, and the serving time is flexible. Would stay in no other place. A scooter is a valuable item there.

Featuring a garden and views of sea, Ancelle Cristo Re is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Moalboal, a few steps from Basdiot Beach. The staff! Sister Theresa was the main host for the resort and she tended to our every need. She and the other sisters were kind, friendly, and compassionate. Sister Theresa helped us to arrange for tours, guides, and transport on our request. It was as easy as messaging the accommodation through Booking.com. A lot of work was needed to pull together all the great guides, drivers, and experiences my friends and I had in Oslob, so we really are grateful for her work. The resort is a beautiful place. Spacious room, clean toilet facilities, and comfortable beds. You can simply grab some snorkels and life vest from the resort and dive right into the coral beach right on the doorstep of the place. The corals and marine life were beautiful, pristine, and untouched. Ask the sisters for a tip on where to dive and look for the sea turtle! (I didnt get to find one but they say it visits the beach quite frequently). Some activities we enjoyed in oslob - bike rentals, canyoneering, outdoor massage in the resort, snorkeling.
