This was especially so as Air Tahiti decided to go on strike and Tahia was happy to run us back and forth to the airport to rearrange our flights. Stephane didn’t hesitate to take us to the airport himself after our appointed taxi driver has forgotten us. Definitely recommended!

The stay with John and Patricia at Au Soleil Couchant was extraordinary! Everything was beyond expectations. The accommodations were safe, clean and amazing. The view will take your breath away at sunset. If you are into loud parties, loud music or arrogance, this is not the place to go. If you seek warm hospitality, safety, cleanliness, and quiet, this will be heaven. We were given an option for a breakfast for an additional charge. The breakfast was delicious and far more than what we could eat. I have stayed at many locations around Tahiti and this may be the absolute best.

Very functional apartment with great AC in bedrooms, kitchen well stocked, useful washer for clothes, steps from the grocery store, and although the private beach was rock, not sand, I watched beautiful sunsets over Moorea, and had surprisingly good snorkeling with fish, anemone ,and corals. Taxi rides to airport 3,000, and same price to ferry dock for day trip on Moorea
