At the bed and breakfast, every unit is fitted with a desk. With a private bathroom equipped with a shower, units at the bed and breakfast also offer free WiFi, while selected rooms are fitted with a terrace. At the bed and breakfast, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Carmen is very friendly and warm host. We stayed for 2 nights and in both we had dinners there with other guests and Carmen and Marcel. The food was delicious and it was like big family dinner. Carmen is very supportive with all the needs her guest have. The rooms are clean, with hot water, very comfortable beds and pillows.

From the food to the hosts, the staff, the rooms, the setting - everything was exceptionally good!

Really nice locally owned hostel right by the water :) great chill out area and my stay was made even better by the amazing volunteers who were so amazing and nice!! The hostel is clean and tidy, shared dorm has big lockers and private rooms were very spacious. The Zapatilla tour I booked through the hostel was super fun, we even got to go fishing and caught barracudas. I had a very memorable time in Bastimentos because of this hostel and would highly recommend it to everyone :)

This place is absolutely beautiful! The cabañas are really comfortable. The place is quiet and in the middle of nature. The family who owns the place is also adorable. Do not hesitate to have dinner in the place, it is absolutely delicious! Breakfast is also really nice. We fully recommend this place is you are looking for peace and quiet.

It's a really quiet place and everything was perfect, I stayed there with a friend and we spent a wonderful time. Dinner is something unique. Renè best taxi-boat driver in Bocas :)
This is a wonderful place, great location in the nature, easy to get to. The hosts, Carmen and Marcel, create very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, and they are very helpful with all the recommendations. The rooms are very comfortable. The breakfast is great. Carmen also cooks dinner sometimes, if you are lucky to be there that day, I definitely recommend to join, it’s delicious. It was overall a great experience staying at Carmen’s Place.
Ataraxia was the best place we stayed in Panama. It was so nice, quiet and relaxing. The bungalows are more uphill and in the jungle, with fantastic views. We also had some nice dinners in the restaurant. The transport with watertaxis is easy and you can also walk to Old Banks when the waterlevel is not too high. We borrowed kayaks and went kayaking to Isla Solarte and along the mangroves. Beautiful. The owners Pierre and Manon are so friendly and helpful.
the facilities are just amazing. they will let you use their kayaks, surf boards and even snorkels. however, in the rain season the visibility is not too got for snorkeling most of the time, but that’s just everywhere. the staff is super friendly and keen to help. the private jungle with the caiman and everything is cool if you’re into nature but don’t want to get too adventurous.
Friendly staff and good breakfast! The room was big and nice with private bathroom.
