La Casa de los Patos is a recently renovated guest house in Valle de Anton, where guests can makes the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden and terrace. Beautiful quiet spot surrounded by mountains. The pool was wonderful too, with natural hot sping water in it. There is a beautiful terrace outside to enjoy. We had a nice welcome from Alex and he was available to answer our questions and advice us. Alex has special skills to release knocks on your back so do not hesitate to take a treatment with him. This is something unique in the world.

Big, clean rooms, hot water, nice terrace to sit and have meals or drinks. A quiet hacienda with a beautiful garden, fully equipped kitchen and super kind staff.

Set in Valle de Anton, 46 km from Santa Clara, DondeJosé offers free bikes and free WiFi. Location was excellent, with comfortable beds and all the required amenities in good working order. Perfect for our 3 night stay. It’s a 5 min walk to a good size supermarket, 15 mins to the main ‘downtown’ Avenida with restaurants and the mercado. 3 amazing hikes to the top of the ancient caldera, and the butterfly farm is a must see. We were able to park our car inside their gate, and the home is a 15 min walk to access one of the 3 primary hikes in the area, India Dormida. Jose and his partner, Liz, are wonderful hosts, and made us feel like family. The breakfast is simple and filling, and we could use their fridge and also made a meal or two using the kitchen facilities. Jose and Liz are gracious hosts and Jose is very witty. They made our time there a truly fun and memorable experience. Communication was excellent, in English and Spanish, despite my spouse and I having very limited Spanish language skills. Local knowledge, tips, and recommendations on things to do in the area were great and super appreciated. Finally, Jose joined us on one of our hikes and he made it super fun and interesting with his knowledge of local flora and fauna. Offering an outdoor swimming pool, Villa Botero By Casa Mojito is located in Santa Clara. Free WiFi access and free private parking are available. The villa is absolutely special and unique. Nice and clean and comfortable rooms, the pool, and beautiful trees and other green stuff in the garden. It's easy to get to restaurants and sea from there, but I'd like to also recommend best breakfasts we had in Panama! The owners are French, and they changed the villa to have a little bit of French touch. We really enjoyed staying there.

Set in Playa Blanca, a few steps from Farallon Beach and 400 metres from Santa Clara Beach, Togo B&B Farallon offers a private beach area and air conditioning. Beautiful garden and rooms, very comfortable bed, love the fan in the bathroom, property just steps from the beach. The dogs and cats of the property was such a delight and host Gordon was fabulous 🥰🤩

Located in Valle de Anton in the Cocle region, Hostal La India Dormida features a patio. This property offers access to a balcony, a pool table, free private parking and free WiFi. It was a great place to stay. They were really helpful after another place canceled our reservation on the spot. The room had enough space and kitchen essentials for a couple. The pool looked amazing, though we didn’t have time to use it. I’d like to go back.

Great location right near the trail head of La India Dormida. The owner Ariel went out of his way to make us feel at home and make our travels easy. He is probably the most hospitable host we have ever encountered in our travels. He met us in town at the bus stop and offered to drop us off at the bus stop when we were leaving. He is very knowledgeable about the town and activities, and loves to share music and stories. The communal spaces are very homely, there is a big backyard space and a river alongside the property.
