Amazing location, beautiful beach, starfish everywhere!! Beds are so comfy and the bathrooms are immaculate. The staff, Gabriel particularly is quite literally the best host we’ve ever had. We did 12 days in Panama, 4 at RIVA and wish we had stayed all 12 days at RIVA. The breakfast is impeccable and had many options with veggie and vegan options as well. I cannot sum up in one review how much we loved the vibes and atmosphere at RIVAS. Easy to access and close to really REALLY good food. Once again I’d like to highlight the amazing staff, Gabriel, we love you!!

We had an amazing stay at Oasis Bluff Beach! The service provided by Alex and Choy was absolutely impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in the most incredible and personalized way, with a special touch: our names were displayed on a welcome sign—a thoughtful detail that made all the difference. The food was absolutely delicious, and every meal was a true delight. We stayed in a room with a jungle view, and hearing the soothing sounds of the animals was a unique and relaxing experience. The service was flawless, whether at the tables, on the beach, or by the pool. Everything was designed to make us feel pampered at all times. I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation, and we will definitely be returning!

With garden views, Carmen's place is located in Bastimentos and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar and garden. The property features sea and lake views. I had a wonderful stay at Carmen's place! She and Marcel are friendly outgoing hosts, and the guesthouse has an amazing location surrounded by the jungle facing the bay. Carmen took very good care of me as a solo traveller, suggesting destinations for day-trips and activities to me and catering to small personal needs as an extra-ration of sand fly-repellent or my daily early morning tea :-) Apart of excursions to Zapatillas and Red Frog Beach, I roamed around by kayak and SUP and Carmen also organised to go out as a group for dinner and to watch some live music, which was a lot of fun! Last but not least, she prepares great dinners with different dishes and provides a generous breakfast with local fruit, pancakes, bread, jam, and your choice of eggs. Would love to come back in the future !

Mosana Reef Garden B&B is set in Bluff Beach, 5 km from Bocas Town and 26 km from Buena Vista. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Free WiFi is available and free private parking is available on site. The remoteness of the place, the piece that one can find there, the nature/wildlife (we saw sloth right next to the path), the food, the attentiveness of the hosts, the build/decoration and surroundings - everything was done in the traditional style. Opportunities for hikes and experiences not far from the place (Bluff beach, La Piscina beach, etc.).

Situated within 500 metres of Istmito and 1.8 km of Y Griega Beach, Saigon Bay Bed & Breakfast features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bocas del Toro. Efficient check in and check out, nice location above the water with a great view, quiet and well-kept place, good breakfast. We felt it was great value for the price in Bocas. The owners are very welcoming and helpful, it was very much appreciated.

The eco-friendly B&B Dolphin Bay Hideaway features a wooden terrace with hammocks, plus garden and Dolphin Bay views. It is located on Cristobal Island, 20 minutes’ boat trip from Bocas del Toro. Wonderful owners and staff. Loved the home in stunning location. Screened deck was amazing! We ate all of our meals there. Great added value to include use of kayaks and paddleboards.
