Nothing too much for them made us very welcome. The room was clean and very modern. There is a microwave, toaster, and kettle, and you are supplied with some food items, milk, butter, jam, cereal, and snacks ect. Lovely view of the canal from the veranda. You are able to use some e-bikes if you want to, although we did not take up the offer. Would I go again? Yes, I would.

North Hideaway offers accommodation in Pukenui, less than 1 km from East Beach and 1.7 km from Houhora Bay. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. We wanted to visit Cape Reinga and discovered this perfect stay as we were searching for accommodations. The room was really clean (best tidiness and cleaning we had in New Zealand) and had everything we needed. A 5-minute drive away is the Tonui Lucid Cafe, which we recommend for breakfast; the view is beautiful and the food delicious. We arrived around 5 p.m. at the accommodation, had a wonderful chat with the hosts, and left our luggage there. We still made it to the grand dunes to surf a little in the sand. Afterwards, there was still time to check out Cape Reingas lighthouse in a marvellous sunset. After a good night's sleep, we went to eat breakfast at the Lucid Cafe, checked out the Gumdiggers Forest, and continued to the Maitai Beach (we absolutely recommend this beach!). So, the place has a perfect location.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Views to unwind - self contained unit w/king bed is set in Ruakaka. The views were beautiful and the unit itself was gorgeous. Nice big windows, super clean, and spacious. Great little kitchenette. Immaculate grounds. Even in proximity to the main house, it felt very private. My husband said it was the best self-contained booking he had ever stayed at for such a price (he was also comparing to AirBnBs)--and I would have to agree. It was in a great location for our next day of exploring too!

J&D Cottage, a property with a garden, is situated in Kerikeri, 26 km from Opua Forest, 4.5 km from Kemp House and Stone Store, as well as 21 km from Haruru Falls. We didn't have breakfast during our stay but next time will definitely take the opportunity. We were able to get a courteousy van from Homestead to pick us up and drop us off so we could enjoy a couple of beers. Lovely stay there and so thankful for the return of my phone. Located in One Tree Point in the Northland region, Roy and Anns Haven provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Ann is à gracious and very Caring host.made us feel at home and communication was great with her. Cooked delicious breakfast each morning. The location close to the Marina is lovely. The house is beautifull the appartments new and impacably clean and very comfortable. All modern facilities including washing and drying. We very much enjoyed our stay and Ann's hospitality, would love to come back and highly recommend her place.

Boasting mountain views, Hatea Drive Accommodation provides accommodation with patio, around 2.4 km from Northland Event Centre. This was a lovely place to stay, great location, very clean and comfortable, quiet, comfortable bed and lovely hosts. Highly recommend this place
