Would like to stay here again next time visiting Tekapo. The location is very good (about 10-min walk to the waterfront and 15-min walk to the church). The room is clean and cozy. The breakfast is tasty. A kettle, mugs, teabags and cookies are provided in room for having a tea at anytime. Rosemary and Grant are both warm-hearted and always offering valuable experience for me to carry out my plans better.

Host Ann-Maree made sure we are comfortable, provided welcome chocolates & drinks in the room and even helped melt the ice off our car window screen for us to start our road trip safely. We love the breakfast Ann-Maree prepared for us as well.

Incredible style and decor in a beautiful setting! The best night of our trip. Fantastic hosts and scrumptious food! A must do!!

Set in Lake Tekapo, Canterbury region, Skyrim Lodge is situated 46 km from Mt. Dobson. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. This is really the most satisfying place I have ever stayed in. The room is large and comfortable, and the view outside the window amazes me and my husband. Everything in the room is complete. If given the chance I would choose here again!
