It is so serene, so peaceful and at such a wonderful location, right by the water. There are quite some activities to do, like Canoeing, boating, fishing or Sauna (all have different charges) The host is a really friendly man who was super flexible with us checking in late on the day of arrival. We had quite a chit chat with him on the next day. The property is so well maintained. Everything looks so pristine and fresh. Kitchen is well stuffed with good crockery and has goof ameneties. Garden is lush green. And if it rains, you can sit and relax in the room with a glass roof. Just make sure to buy food stuff from Flekkefjord beforehand. It is quite a drive from the main city and the last 4 km are a gravel road, all well maintained. The only part not good about our stay was that it was only 4 days. Should have stayed longer. Will definitely come back and would surely recommend to everyone who seeks peace and calm along with some activities right in the heart of Norwegian nature.

Gorgeous house, comfortable, generous host supplying tea, coffee, toiletries, a cosy place to sit, information and parking! Lovely room. Private bathroom. Perfect! One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in.

This guesthouse lies by the Setesdalsheiene Mountains, 40 km from the North Sea. It offers rooms with garden views, free on-site parking and easy access to surrounding hiking trails. Everything was amazing Smiling people and friendly

The breakfast was unbelievable for a B&B. With the host acting as a chef in the morning making differnt things everyday. English, french, italian. I mean three kinds of home made jam. Fresh cherries from the garden. In our view this B&B has all you can ask for in this price range in this area.

Situated by hiking trails, next to the River Otra, this property offers an award-winning restaurant and free private parking. Hovden Water Park & Spa is 5 minutes' drive away. Plentiful, lots of choices. Far more than expected or needed. All we tried was excellent!!
