Set in San Carlos, Cabinas Leyko provides accommodation with seating area. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The hotel had secure parking for our two motorbikes. For a fee they let us park our bikes there for an evening while we did an overnight excursion up river.

Offering river views, Hostal Don Frank in San Carlos offers accommodation and a casino. We stayed for two nights, once after arriving on the bus from Managua and then again when returning on the boat from El Castillo. It is in the perfect location for the bus terminal and boat port (2 minute walk). The rooms are basic but clean. Great value for money.
