Situated in Taman Negara, Balai Serama Guesthouse offers tranquil and comfortable accommodation. Surrounded by lush greenery, it features a restaurant and provides free parking space on site. I was a little bit sceptical about the included half board option but it turned out to be the best decision. There were quite a lot of options to choose from and it was delicious. Also I usually do not book tours from hotels due to overpricing but it seemed they have regullar price + it was a nice lift forward and backward in a Hilux trunk seats. My family also liked a very nice and maintained tropical garden.

I stayed in single room with a balcony, overlooking the jungle and the hostel patio. The bed was comfortable and was equipped with a mosquito net. Overall the hostel was very clean and tidy. It's got a nice patio with tables, loungers and chairs surrounded by plants and trees. The personnel were friendly and very helpful. The location of the hostel is ideal with many nearby restaurants and at only a 5-minute walk to the jetty. I would def come back.

Nestled within private gardens, Tahan Guest House offers accommodation in Kuala Tahan. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Amazing, amazing place, in the middle of a tropical garden. The owner is very kind as well as his staff; if they can help you, they will. My room was very colorful, big, very quiet and with a balcony. The view is just amazing. The bed very comfortable, with a mosquito net. I loved this place and I felt at peace here !!!!

Everything was absolutely wonderful! This is the perfect guest house to use as home base for a few days of hiking and exploring Taman Negara. The balcony is big and spacious with a sitting area and a rack to dry clothes (much needed after swimming in waterfalls and getting splashed on the boat). The room is so clean and spacious with a little sitting area for breakfast coffee. We were more comfortable here than in any other guest house in our month traveling in Malaysia. 11/10 would recommend!!!
