The owner is very thoughtful and sweet. He made everything easy for us to have a pleasant stay. It really felt like home. The ability to cook, do your washing, and use the bicycle are a huge plus !

Zack is so friendly and helpful. I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. While it's on the north side of the river from city center, it's very easy to get downtown by Grab or by boat for just a couple of ringgit. I actually like very much how it's a little removed from the centre of action and is very peaceful at night. The common areas are well equipped and it looks like there's even enough to cook a full meal if one wished to do so. The bed in my room was comfortable. I had a great sleep each night. Zack even offers tours (extra $ of course). He brought me out to Semenggoh and a couple of other stops at a reasonable cost. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic and basic toiletries were provided.

I booked a three night stay that I ended up extending for four more nights! From the start, Zack was a great host. He offered to pick me up from the airport for the same rate as a Grab, but rather than taking me straight to the guesthouse, he gave me a tour around the city and we stopped for dinner on the way! One day I went to the laundry and it started raining heavily, I get a message from Zack offering to come pick me up (for free)! Throughout my stay, Zack would check to see if I needed anything and he provided me with lots of suggestions for things to check in and around Kuching and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations as well as the conversations with the other guests in the communal kitchen.

Situated within 8 km of Borneo Convention Centre Kuching and 12 km of Sarawak Stadium in Kuching, Marco Polo Guest House provides accommodation with a kitchen. A shared terrace is available. - Excellent wifi - Perfect location (7 Eleven across the street for water etc) - Free breakfast - Hot water - AC - Free luggage storage while I stayed at Bako for 2 days. - Extremely helpful suggestions tips about free buses/tours etc. KD was one of the best hosts I've ever had at a hostel. She went above and beyond what I expected from a host. On the day of my booking, she Whatsapped me with a warm welcome, as well as a PDF of about 13 pages full of info about Kuching, free transport, which days to go to places in order to get the best deals, etc. On Christmas, she invited me to join her for a Christmas event that she was invited to. She was also very flexible with me extending my stay on short notice. Overall, Quiikcat was everything I could ever want from a hostel. It was so conveniently located, the rooms were nice and cool, and KD made it an absolute pleasure to be there. Thanks so much, and I'll see you next time!

Featuring free WiFi, Plaza Inn is situated in Sibu. The inn has family rooms. At the inn, rooms are equipped with a desk. The staff is very friendly. Daytime hard to find parking, because that is the centre of the town. Shops closes early but that's fine.
