The hotel owner, Luz, and her mom, Juanita, were so personable and warm. They really helped me and my friend order food, drive us, and also made me tea and soup when I was feeling sick! It felt like I was being taken care of like family and I am so grateful to have met them.

As a solo female traveler, Casa de Kai was perfection. A 7 minute walk to the beach, one minute to anything you might need or want while in Mazunte. The room was perfect, clean, bright, cozy, simple. Paula is an exceptional and attentive host and a remarkable human. She was the best part of my stay at Casa de Kai - in her, I made a life-long friend. Oh, and the cats Minu and Max hanging with me in the garden, were a sweet addition.

Located in Brisas de Zicatela, Bugambilias Alojamiento provides a garden. Guests can enjoy garden views. At the guest house, rooms come with a wardrobe. Honestly best place I’ve stayed in in Puerto. Everything’s super clean, the location is perfect and the host is extremely friendly and helpful.

Casa Sixta ligger i Puerto Escondido, mindre än 1 km från Principal Beach, och har en trädgård, rökfria rum samt gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. It was an oasis. We loved the place and how Magnolia (the owner) was taking care of it with love. She was there every day, watering the plants, cleaning and it was amazing how committed she was to the place. We had one of the new rooms and it was the best and most comfortable accommodation we’ve had in Mexico. Like the others said, the shower was amazing, the bed super comfortable and we simply felt great there. You can also cook in there, the kitchen is in the other part of the garden and was fully equipped. We could also get cold water at the reception anytime we wanted so there was no need to buy the bottled one. Thank you so much Magnolia, you truly were the best host and we wish to come back again to Casa Sixta! ❤️

Great location but outside of the city center, needed to go by car or taxi, distance was too far to walk. Great wifi, nice neighbourhood, rooms were spacious and very clean , great breakfast ! Secure parking .

Villa Bonobo - Coliving features an outdoor swimming pool, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Puerto Escondido. There is a communal oven and coffee machine. It’s a really nice place, with nice views and very comfortable.

Despite travelling alone this place felt like a home. It was very relaxed with a small number of guests. The evening meals were around a main central table which encourages mingling. The host and staff were the correct level of attentiveness, allowing private moments yet also being on hand at any moment. The room was pretty amazing and the hotel had all you would want. Despite not speaking Spanish and also offering the challenge of being vegan, the staff and chef rose to meet high expectations. I especially enjoyed being surrounded by Spanish speakers.
