Probably the best stay we had on our trip through the Balkan. The rooms and public areas are designed beautifully, exactly like the photo’s. There’s (good) coffee and tea for free and a nice area for working from your laptop. Our bedroom was just perfect; a large bed with clean linen, a spacious bathroom and finally a working A/C which is no crime during the summer. Marko and Xenia from the reception are lovely and very willing to give advise on what to see and do in the surroundings. A big 10!!!

Everything....we travelled end of April just before season started. All I can say is I couldnt have been any happier with the service. First let's start with Ana...who greeted us with beautiful energy and big smile on her face. Made us feel soooo welcome. Then we met Karla ...great energy, great style, excellent English and also made us feel very welcome. On arrival we was offered to have coffee and croissants for free. Now...the room!!!!! Woooow. Just so spacious, clean, lovely layout, free amenities, and a balcony equipped with table two chairs and an ashtray. Just loved this place and would definitely definitely stay again. sending love to both Ana and Karla. Thank you for making our stay so special. Also ...split town is about 15 minute walk if u walk along the main roads. Or for a more scenic route...you walk along the coast. X beautiful people beautiful country......can't wait to come BK in season x

Portella is truly a unique design hotel furnished with great taste, where cleanliness and breathtaking attention to detail are the flagship. The bathroom is fantastic, the bed so comfortable and the view from the window - like in a dream. The restaurant has a fantastic breakfast choice (vegan options too), great coffee, drinks, exquisite wines...and the food absolutely exceeded all my expectations in looks and taste. The hotel is full of history comfort and charm but, more important, full of the kindest people, the staff and owner, each and everybody - so welcoming! <3 Highly recommend this exquisite jewel!! I'm definitely coming back soon!
