Gorgeous, newly renovated Riad in a convenient location. The owners are delightful. This was by far our favorite place we stayed in all of Morocco.

Dar Shaeir offers accommodation set 300 metres from the centre of Rabat and provides a garden and a terrace. It is located less than 1 km from Plage de Salé Ville and features luggage storage space. Dar Shaeir provided an exceptional experience throughout our stay. While other superior riads typically excel in a few areas, Dar Shaeir stands out as a comprehensive and remarkable establishment. The consistently affable and accommodating manager, Siham, played a pivotal role in enhancing our daily experiences. The unobtrusive and friendly demeanour of the entire staff, including the proprietor, Mr. Salah, whom we had the pleasure of meeting one morning, further contributed to the positive atmosphere. Dar Shaeir is a venerable structure with a rich and extensive history, as evidenced by the detailed information presented in the form of pictures and text on the walls. The establishment encompasses a substantial building with numerous spacious rooms spread across multiple floors, creating a labyrinthine layout (which children enjoyed much). Notably, there are four distinct terraces, one of which serves as a central vantage point offering a breathtaking 360-degree view of Medina. In essence, photographs fail to capture the true grandeur of Dar Shaeir, as it appears significantly larger in person. Additionally, it is noteworthy that the beds at Dar Shaeir were the most comfortable ones during our whole trip in Morocco. We highly recommend Dar Shaeir and eagerly anticipate our next visit.

The property have unique traditional morrocan riad style that give you the athentic experience of maghrebin culture, the owner ahmad is a very charismatic and cultured man he made our stay even more enjoyable his hospitality is way something else as he gave us precious tips and even handed us over morrocan sweets along with morrocan tea i would definitely recommend staying in his household as its a walking distance from salé marina and very close to the old souk of sale .
