Highly recommended!

Situated in Kalutara, Karl Holiday Bungalow offers peaceful and homely accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. Set within few steps from the beach, it features lush green gardens and free parking on site. We used this very nice and cosy little hotel during three weeks as a 'base camp' for trips around the island. We were more than satisfied with everything. Staff is very friendly and nice and made us feel very welcome. The pool is clean and the garden is very beautiful and well maintained with flowers and decorations. Furnitures in the patio areas where you can sit outside and chill. The food they serve is also very tasty — we really liked the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner specialities. Our room was big and spacious wirh good storage facilities for clothes and personal belongings. To have a fridge of your own and access to a kitchen is a big advantage!

We are so happy that we selected this place for our honeymoon stay. it was a unforgettable amazing experience. it had an excellent tropical architecture designed by an award winning local architect without harming the natural context. the building had blended with the nature giving an calming and relaxing experience. Captured the views of the Lake, greenery vistas from inside the building almost forgetting that we are in proximity to city. it was so convenient to us that the location is close to main driveways to southern Sri Lanka which was a destination of our journey. We would highly recommend this place.
